From bird watching in Hawai’i to flight seeing glaciers in Alaska, my journey takes me across breathtaking landscapes and vibrant ecosystems. My painting technique layers bubbles blobs and splatters. The hyper colors with abstracted style feeds into my paper collage art as well. After years of making bubbles in my art, I thought that would be a great title for my blog.
Welcome to BUBBLY BRUSHES.
I paint my life, what I see and how I feel. While swimming, diving, bird watching and hiking inspire my creativity in paint. Many scenes are autobiographical, others are abstracted visions of the night skies and natural treasures here in Hawai’i where I live and work.
Painting is my passion and I'm always working on new pieces, or adding to older ones, never quite unseeing new ideas and imagery as I revisit them over time.
